Be yourself but be different. The only person that can help you, is you.

Sunday the 04th – 11th March 2018

Hi All!

I hope you’ve all been having a great week.

This is something I’m going to be sharing with you each week, on a Sunday.

What I’m up to, on what motivates me, and things I am enjoying,
I hope you enjoy

But first of all…

💐  Happy Mother’s Day 💐

To a wonderful Mother and human being…

Here’s your weekly dose of “Weekly 5.”

In case you’ve missed it

Do you know of someone who needs help? Someone who lives just for what they need and you can’t do anything to help them. Maybe you are or were one of these people. To them, everything seems ok, what they’re doing is fine and isn’t hurting anyone but their wrong. Their families hurt, knowing they can’t help even though they’ve tried again and again.

We all know of someone that has a problem, we all know someone who has a substance abuse problem or an addiction to alcohol. Maybe it’s something as simple as cigarettes. They won’t quit or stop even though you’ve tried to stop them.

Listen, you can’t lock someone up or take away their things, it doesn’t work that way. The more you push, the more they pull…

– Daniel Mac Sweeney

I’m not an expert on the subject of helping people to quit addictions but I do know something about it.

Usually I’m a very private person, I don’t really want to share my personal business with anyone except people that are close to me, but if I can help just one person that will make it worthwhile.

I was addicted to smoking, I was addicted to drinking, I was addicted to drugs.

Ok, maybe not addicted, but I tried them all and I enjoyed them but I knew they were wrong…

In my early 20s I lived for going out and partying. Drink was the catalyst for my nights out and god did I cause a lot of destruction, with messing, fights and stealing. Basically acting the maggot.

I had fun but at what cost. Who was I hurting and at what cost.
It wasn’t until something huge that happened me made me quit getting smashed and acting the fool. I was the only one that could make me stop. I had to figure out where I was going with this.

With drugs, again I was young and stupid. Drinking had lead me down this path. I wasn’t on anything major, but my parents found out and my father had a chat with me. He explained that it was my choice and that all outcomes would be bad and to think about what I was doing to, not just him and my mother, but to myself too.

Where would I be in 10 years, what would I look like, what would I be doing, I would be alone…

I did what he said, I thought about all these things and more. The drugs were frying my brain and making me stupid. It did open up my mind to possibles of what I could become…

Smoking was a bit different, because it wasn’t frowned upon at the time as it is now. It wasn’t until I started running in 2015 to get fit that I realized that I had to quit in order to be healthy, live longer and… not smell.

That’s one of the first things I found when I quit, I could smell again and that the smell of smoke was revolting.

I’m not saying I’m awesome for quiting these things, I still have a drink or two without getting hammered. But I do believe that it’s a better life without them.

If you want to help yourself or others that have a problem, don’t nag them, don’t niggle them to quit.

What you need to do is show them the benefits and pitfalls of what they are doing.

Only they can decide to quit and all you can do is advise.

They have to decide for themselves…

What I’m doing at the moment

During the week I finished my Webinar script and went live via the Financial Freedom Forever community, Monday to Thursday. It was fun and I got more confident as each day passed.

What it really helped with was technical issues and also to perfect the script, as I think I didn’t make since at times.

You can watch the Webinar here…

I even went live in my national park too, to talk about advice I learn this week from Tai Lopez.

I also wrote a blog post for people that are new to blogging and trying to figure out where’s the best place is to blog. It’s amazing how many places and different ways you that you can.
I found 21 ways and I’m very happy that I can help others grow their lists and blogs.

One of the top or most interesting posts of the week

Have you ever posted something on Social Media and wondered why very little people interacted with it, or why nobody is commenting?

This week one of the best value bombs was shared on the Group by Jason Elliot.
Jason has been with us from the beginning and is one of the most active members on this community and probably every other one I’m apart of.

In Jason’s post, he said;

“Whenever you are posting something of interest to your followers and they show any interest ALWAYS reciprocate, by tagging them in your comments.

Facebook will show it to all mutual and non mutual friends giving you further coverage. And because it’s nice.”

I’ve tried this and it does really work. If you get the chance, go check out Jason on his Website…

A tip or advice from an Influencer

I’m impressed with lots of entrepreneurs online, but there are only a few who really catch my eye. These people are Rememberable, smart, talented and genuine people.

You can probably name a few of the same people off the top of your head, comment below and let’s see if we come up with the same ones.

This week though, two guys who are always popping up on either Facebook and YouTube collaborated together to create a 1 min video.

The two guys I speak of are Casey Neistat & Nuseir Yassin, aka Nas Daily.

They both got together, not only to collaborate but to share a message to all their followers. It’s a simple message but I like it and had to share it with you.

“Be different, but be you”

Quote I’m pondering

“I will tell you how to become rich. Close the doors. Be fearful when others are greedy. Be greedy when others are fearful.” – Warren Buffett

And as always, please let me know your requests and suggestions in the comments. Which “Weekly5” above is your favourite? What do you want more or less of? Let me know! Just comment below and #Weekly5 in there, so I can find them easily.

Thanks for reading! Have a wonderful week, you guys are Awesome 😎.
